Director of Sales and Marketing, Seaton House, St Andrews - Luxury & Golf Focus Competitive Salary New Opening - November 2024 Are you a seasoned Director of Sales and Marketing with experience working within luxury 5 star accommodation and golf - inbound markets primarily USA? Do you have experience of new openings? Seaton House is planned to open in Winter 2024 and we see the Director of Sales as a position key to the success of not just the opening but as we look towards embeding our fabulous new property into the St Andrews market in 2025. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, your mission is to strategically sell every facet of the hotel across local, national, and international markets. Your focus will be on attracting luxury travellers, golf enthusiasts, and high-end leisure clients to ensure the hotel's success. Ideally you will know the local market already and have connections into some of the tour operators. You will be based from Seaton House in St Andrews but there will be the need for European and International travel to attend key sales driving events. Hybrid working will be considered. Key Responsibilities of the Director of Sales and Marketing Spearhead pre-opening and opening sales and marketing strategies Dive deep into competitor research to stay ahead of market trends Secure new and repeat business across all market segments, with an emphasis on luxury and golf Be the face of the hotel and restaurant for exclusive events Cultivate strong relationships with high-end golf group operators and lifestyle agents Forge strategic partnerships with local leisure attractions Lead local marketing campaigns and oversee the online presence Craft and execute a pre-opening and ongoing PR campaign working closely with Valor Sales and Marketing teams Foster community relationships and represent the hotel nationally and internationally Harness distribution systems and marketing tools for maximum impact Collaborate closely with the revenue team to grow and retain business Desired Skills and Qualifications: Proven sales and marketing prowess, particularly in luxury hotels and new openings Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Expertise in digital marketing and social media management Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills A go-getter with exceptional interpersonal skills and an unyielding drive for results
