Senior Security Architect

Our client is an industry-known multi-award winning global pure-play cyber security consultancy that is looking for talented, ambitious, and motivated Cyber Security Architects to join the team.

You will have the opportunity to work across multiple industries and sectors including Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), Financial Services, Retail and Government (who doesn’t love varied work?)

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering enterprise security solutions and architecture across key areas such as cutting-edge Endpoint Protection, robust cloud security, network security, proactive security monitoring & remediation and SABSA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the design of security architecture
  • Completing security architecture reviews and reporting to the relevant key stakeholders
  • Identify and deliver appropriate metrics to drive security architecture compliance.
  • Report underlying security issues and propose enhanced security protections and/or mitigation controls.
  • Define Security controls in line with good industry Security practices (for example ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST 800 53, CIS, NCSC CAF, etc.), and relevant UK Cyber Regulations and Standards. For this role, it is imperative to have experience implementing and applying these frameworks.
  • Experience of Cloud Security Solutions
  • Analyse security requirements and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with other architects to develop and maintain comprehensive security strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • Current commercial hands-on experience as a cyber security architect/cloud security solutions architect
  • Deep understanding of Information Security solutions and controls
  • Cloud Security experience – MS Azure predominately with limited engagements involving AWS / GCP
  • Ability to understand and challenge technical designs and configurations
  • Must be able to obtain Security Clearance (Must be living in the UK for over 5 years consistently.)
