We are looking for an Accounts and Administration Supervisor to join the team at our laboratory based in Wednesbury, Sandwell. In this role you will be responsible for administrative and account support activities, as well as acting as front of house. Some other responsibilities will include: Administrative reception duties such as; Greeting customers, answering visitors' enquiries about the company and its products or services, directing visitors to their destinations, sorting mail and answering incoming calls in a timely manner. Managing ordering of company supplies such as stationery and PPE. Maintaining supplier and customer contact records. Manage the purchase ledger process and supplier payment runs Being fully accountable for overseeing the ledger process, from raising of orders through to invoices and reconciliation Sales invoicing and credit control activities, ensuring the sales ledger and credit control databases are accurately maintained. Support the financial audit process ensuring Divisional records are always up to date. Posting and reconciliation of cash. Supervision of two part time staff members What experience do I need? Our team consists of the best, and we want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do. Requirements include: 5+ years within a finance function required. SAGE and AAT qualification desirable but not essential. Experience supporting a small team within a supervisory capacity. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service. Good IT skills across a range of software. Flexibility to adapt to change within a growing business.
