Remote Business Development Representative

Role Overview: We're seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR). As a BDR focusing on the public-sector market, you'll play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships. Identify and engage key decision-makers in the public sector through thorough research.
Manage a database of tender opportunities, including deadlines and bid strategies.
Cultivate partnerships with voluntary and community sector (VCS) organizations to enhance collaboration on consortium bids.
Contribute to client renewal efforts and maintain accurate records in Hubspot CRM.
Stay informed about industry trends and government policies related to children and family services and public health.
Occasionally attend business development and market engagement events.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Policy, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales/business development.
Experience working with B2G and/or public sector and/or voluntary and community sector (VCS).
Familiarity with local government procurement and commissioning processes.
Proficiency in Hubspot CRM, Marketing, and Sales Hubs.
Previous experience selling software solutions or technology services.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar software.
Experience working in a small, remote team environment.
