Main tasks : to over-see other volunteers and placements get enjoyment and sense of purpose from engaging with the farm. Help coordinate tasks. Looking after animals welfare needs; support the Livestock/Volunteer Coordinator in delivering sessions. Help keep the farm running smoothly.
Skills, Experience and Qualities Needed: experience in supporting people; g ood communication skills; understanding of confidentiality; keeping others around you feeling safe; ideally knowledge of working with farm animals; have a friendly disposition and be welcoming of new people to the farm; and have an inclusive approach to supporting all people; engaging with the public; some experience with working with adults with mild mental health problems and/or learning disabilities.
