Job Spec -

• This role requires a deep understanding of Client platform, coupled with a strong background in GitLab pipeline development and 2GP package management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the adoption of best practices, leading by example, and fostering a community of engineering excellence within our Client ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Platform Expertise:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Client solutions, including custom objects, fields, workflows, approvals, and triggers.

• Optimize Client performance and scalability.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.

• GitLab Pipeline Development:

• Develop and maintain robust GitLab pipelines for Client deployments.

• Ensure pipeline efficiency, reliability, and security.

• Integrate GitLab CI/CD with Client DevOps tools.

• 2GP Package Management:

• Design, build, test, and operate 2GP packages in accordance with Client standards.

• Ensure package quality and compliance.

• Manage package dependencies and version control.

• Community of Practice Leadership:

• Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the Client engineering community.

• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices and innovation.

• Enable a federated operating model by providing guidance and support to distributed teams.

• Problem Solving and Innovation:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Stay up-to-date with Client and industry trends.

• Contribute to the development of new Client solutions and capabilities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Client development with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and SOQL.

• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• In-depth knowledge of 2GP package development lifecycle.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Client certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Architect).

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with Client data migration and integration.

• Understanding of financial services industry regulations.
