We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team near Devizes, Wiltshire. Our client has a severe case of cerebral palsy requiring 2:1 care. Our client enjoys a variety of activities and has multiple therapy sessions including hydrotherapy so being able to drive and swim are a must.

Pay Rate:  £15 - £17 per hour

Working Hours:

You will be a part of a team delivering 2:1 care. The shifts will cover 08:00 – 22:00 (Monday to Sunday)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
  • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
