Devizes, United Kingdom Thomas Webb Care and Support Services Full time

We are looking for cover staff at our support working business, to take on shifts with our customers if their usual Support Worker is away or unwell.

We support vulnerable adults and do not provide personal care, (please ask if clarification is needed).

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to individuals in a residential setting, (usually at the customer's home address)
- Assist with everyday activities such as; cleaning, mail and correspondence, shopping and laundry.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Accompany customers into the community, for instances, coffee shop, cinema and leisure trips.
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' physical and mental health
- Assist with behaviour management techniques as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with behaviour management techniques is beneficial
- Valid first aid certification is required (and can be offered before the commencement of post by our company - we also offer other training courses through online programmes).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanour

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 13 - 15 per week
