Corporate Tax Director/ Partner- Step Up

Core3 are working exclusively with a fantastic regional firm based in the Southwest. Due to impressive levels of growth, they are now seeking to recruit a Corporate Tax Director or Partner who will be instrumental in the development of the team and take responsibility for networking and business development.

How you'll make an impact

As a Tax Director/ Partner, you will play a pivotal role in developing business, the team and taking an active role in networking events. The role is approximately a spilt of 60% advisory and 40% compliance.

  • Managing the tax compliance for a client portfolio across a variety of industries.
  • Taking accountability for the development of new business and delivering exceptional service, identifying areas of potential improvement.
  • Mentoring, training and developing junior staff, as well as reviewing their work.
  • Liaising with HMRC.
  • Developing client relationships, through phone, email and face to face contact answering technical queries and offering advice.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the tax department.
  • Undertaking various advisory projects such as EIS, EMI, R&D, Exits, Corporate Structure and Acquisitions.
  • Create marketing initiatives, including webinars on various topics.
  • Conduct internal training sessions, and appraisals to develop junior staff.

  • Confident in time management and delegation.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on client service.
  • Good technical knowledge of tax compliance.
  • Familiarisation with corporate tax regulations, as well as PAYE and VAT.
