How you'll make an impact
As a Tax Director/ Partner, you will play a pivotal role in developing business, the team and taking an active role in networking events. The role is approximately a spilt of 60% advisory and 40% compliance.
- Managing the tax compliance for a client portfolio across a variety of industries.
- Taking accountability for the development of new business and delivering exceptional service, identifying areas of potential improvement.
- Mentoring, training and developing junior staff, as well as reviewing their work.
- Liaising with HMRC.
- Developing client relationships, through phone, email and face to face contact answering technical queries and offering advice.
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the tax department.
- Undertaking various advisory projects such as EIS, EMI, R&D, Exits, Corporate Structure and Acquisitions.
- Create marketing initiatives, including webinars on various topics.
- Conduct internal training sessions, and appraisals to develop junior staff.

- Approachable and a clear communicator to people of all seniorities.
- Confident in time management and delegation.
- Strong commercial mindset with a focus on client service.
- Good technical knowledge of tax compliance.
- Familiarisation with corporate tax regulations, as well as PAYE and VAT.
