The Goods In Coordinator will be responsible for booking goods into the warehouse. Ensuring the safe storage and movement of goods. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the recording and maintaining of relevant computer and administration activities in respect to booking in stock.
  • Ensure materials are booked onto the system efficiently and effectively.
  • Unloading deliveries, using a Forklift Truck, when required.
  • Ensure all materials received match delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Ensure all materials received are stored in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Liaison with the Purchasing & Production Control teams as required.
  • Helping to maintain good working relations through effective communication within the Department and with others to achieve Company & Departmental objectives.
  • Ensure any defects/incorrect items found are escalated to the appropriate personnel for action.
  • Controlling traceability and shelf-life issues for key materials
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
  • Updating bin locations when required.
  • Participate in perpetual and annual stock taking activities.
  • Where appropriate, assist with & provide on the job training.
  • Partake in staff development programs.
  • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
  • Any other duties the management team require.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous Warehouse experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • FLT License.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team
