Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, driven by the challenge of making a sustainable difference? Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Solar Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.

This is your chance to become a key player in originating and managing a growing portfolio of rooftop and ground-mount solar projects. You'll take ownership of the entire sales process, guiding projects from initial identification through to construction readiness. And that's not all You'll also lend your expertise throughout project financing and construction, ensuring a smooth and successful journey.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with 3-5 years of experience in the energy industry, with a deep understanding of solar development processes. Design, commercial arrangements, and grid connections will be your playground. You'll need a knack for multitasking and juggling priorities, all while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager
  • Proven track record working in the energy sector, with a strong background in solar
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Degree in a relevant field preferable
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B sales management
  • Capable of understanding technical concepts and explaining them effectively to customers
  • Professional, ethical approach with a focus on the customer
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and pro-active
  • Ambitious for personal growth and career development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise opportunities within the pipeline
  • IT literate, particularly with Office 365 and CRM software e.g. Salesforce
