Job Description

The Change Analyst will support the Finance Change Manager by gathering requirements from Finance colleagues and stakeholders, analyzing and presenting data, and working with project teams or independently to enhance existing Finance services and processes. They will track and report on the progress and impact of projects, contributing to the timely delivery of projects with measurable outcomes:

  • Liaise with internal and external customers to gather feedback, using this to identify improvement opportunities and build new requirements.
  • Capture information and data and present this using appropriate tools.
  • Support the reporting of financial and non-financial performance metrics across the Finance Control pillar
  • Assist the Finance Change Manager in managing relationships with service providers supporting the Finance Control pillar
  • Deliver effective improvement projects, working independently on smaller projects or as part of a team on larger projects.
  • Report clearly and consistently on project progress and impact.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, including proactive communication and feedback loops.
  • Manage own work to minimize obstacles, using appropriate routes of escalation to resolve conflict or unblock issues.
  • Build relationships across the Finance Control pillar to support delivery of departmental strategy and targets.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience or knowledge of finance processes in either or both Order to Cash and Report to Report
  • Experience of delivering projects, including tracking and reporting on progress
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis, data presentation and reporting
  • Experience of eliciting and analyzing feedback
  • Experience of creating process documentation

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Adaptable; responding quickly to change
  • Collaborative approach to analysis and identifying solutions
  • Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills
