In addition, you will manage and co-ordinate the artwork process to meet on-site and customer deadlines and ensure artwork and packaging are accurate and safe.
Develop and maintain precise product specifications in time, in full, with a “right first-time approach” in compliance with regulatory standards, customer standards/policies, quality standards within agreed timescales.
* Transferring specification data into specific customer formats using various customer specification systems / portals (e.g.: Checking new product relevant information to ensure it meets legal requirements and is safe before adding to specification.
* Degree/Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field desirable but not essential.
* Proven experience as a Specification Technologist in the food manufacturing industry is essential. Experience with online specification systems is desirable.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards, challenges and consumer trends.
The package includes 28 days holiday, statutory pension, staff shop, free fruit Friday and free parking.
The working hours are Monday to Friday.
