Our client, a Global supplier of Ingredients, Flavours, Blending and Contract manufacturing solutions for the Food, Beverage and Nutrition industries has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Flavours Application Assistant. Based in Kent, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established company with an excellent culture and good benefits. The main role summary is to manage Flavour Application projects from conception to completion by gathering project objectives from sales, completing projects within the customer specified time frame, and performing necessary revisions once feedback is received. The essential duties will be:
Complete customer projects as assigned - including but not limited to:

- Develop flavour and sweetener systems for customers that coincide with their cost parameters and performance expectations
- Conduct sensory testing in order to ensure product performance
- Work directly with customers when needed in order to achieve quick project turnaround
- Modify flavour formulas as necessary in order to accommodate customer’s requests
- Compound prototype samples and flavour systems for sample submission
- Assist in preparation and training provided to sales representatives and customers
- Meet with ingredient vendors to gain knowledge of raw materials used in food and beverage development
- Assist in creating formula Specifications that outline new product formulas, attributes, and release testing.
- Support Sales team on customer visits as and when required
- Assist in answering sales and customer questions regarding flavours development
- Attend trade shows and conferences to both understand the market and support customer meetings.**Requirements**:
