Job Description

Job Title: NOC Manager

Location: Guilford

Salary: £60,000

My clients are a Managed Service provider and we are looking for an experienced NOC Manager to join our team. As a NOC Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team, ensuring that all network and service issues are handled in a timely and professional manner and overseeing a team of network analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the NOC team, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and scheduling team members.

• Ensure the team is providing high-quality customer service and technical support, within the agreed SLAs.

• Monitor the NOC team's performance and provide regular feedback and reports to the management team.

• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of network issues.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures and ensure that all team members adhere to them.

• Monitor and manage customer escalations, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of customer issues and solutions.

Technical Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment.

• Strong understanding of networking technologies and protocols.

• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and other operating systems.

• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and processes.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
