Senior Programme Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager, who will run a large scale digital transformation for one of prestigious clients, and will ensure that the aims and progress are understood, standards are followed and quality is consistently high.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the business stakeholders and IT management team. You'll facilitate communication, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementations.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and programmes. This includes defining project scope, creating timelines, allocating resources, and managing risks to ensure successful delivery within established timelines and budgets.
  • Implement effective change management strategies to drive adoption of system upgrade across the organisation. This involves identifying stakeholders, addressing resistance, and fostering a culture that embraces data-driven decision-making.
  • Uphold high standards of quality throughout the programme lifecycle. You'll establish and enforce best practices, methodologies, and standards to ensure the accuracy, reliability.

What you can bring:

  • Demonstrate a robust background in programme and change management within established organisations. Your experience should showcase your ability to navigate complex landscapes and drive transformative change.
  • Able to effectively deliver complex programmes in line with the long-term strategy.
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years spent leading complex change programmes..
  • Showcase a track record of successfully delivering banking projects, from inception to completion. Your experience should highlight your ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans and deliver tangible results.
  • A thorough understanding of the different aspects of project and programme management, and can explain and direct others to deliver these.
  • Experience of reporting into board level
