Role information:
  • Provide guidance and advice on radiological safety to ensure legislative compliance and adoption of industry best practice

  • Provide guidance for the onsite health physics teams
  • Provide technical guidance and selection and calibration of radiation monitoring equipment, sources and monitoring systems
  • Provide onsite supervision of contractors working in radiological areas
  • Deliver radiological protection courses to stakeholders
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of radiological best practices and UK legislation
  • Respond to onsite incidents involving radioactive materials
