Job Description

We are working with an established Food business in recruiting a newly created role for a Demand Planning Manager within their global supply chain operations, our client is based in Surrey and will require 4 days in the office a week, Fridays WFH.

As the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, material ordering, and planning of the company's product demand to ensure that inventory levels meet customer needs without resulting in excess or shortage.

Demand Planning Manager Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting: working with the sales and operations teams in managing the demand forecasting across a broad range of SKU's, using data to manage customers demand and ensuring inventory levels are optimized.
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring that the right amount of inventory is available to meet demand without overstocking or understocking.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to ensure that production and supply chain processes align with demand forecasts.
  • Optimization: Continuously seeking ways to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts and the efficiency of inventory management.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in demand and inventory management.
  • Experience of working in the food industry or similar FMCG.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent organizational and planning experience.
