Job Overview:

This role is responsible for the coordination of all B2C engagement via Salesforce Media Cloud. It sits within the Publishing & Brand Marketing team, covering global B2C audiences and works closely with key stakeholders in brand comms, publishing, ecommerce and digital content.

This is a new role at the start of an exciting new development in direct consumer marketing, so offers the opportunity to build something from scratch and grow the role in-line with the business.

Key tasks:

CRM coordination

  • Coordinate all B2C CRM activity across all stakeholders to ensure a consistent brand experience.
  • Create and optimise Marketing Cloud welcome, lifecycle and resign journeys and automations, based on industry best practice and continual data analysis.
  • Maintain database health and ensure that all B2C campaigns are compliant with GDPR and other local data regulations.
  • Continually segment customer data via progressive profiling and other tactics to develop highly targeted and personalised campaigns.

Marketing campaigns

  • Work with Paid Marketing Executive on effective acquisition campaigns and initiatives to grow customer data for specific business goals, based on market research and CRM insights.
  • Work with Content Marketing Manager on activation strategy to grow data and establish ongoing content plans, optimise landing pages and customer journeys.
  • Own the retention, reengagement, and referral strategy with a view to developing a highly engaged GWR audience that can support new brand and business goals.
  • Continually track and analyse results with regular reporting to key stakeholders and senior management.

Stakeholder management

  • Collaborate with eCommerce Manager to devise D2C campaigns for books, merchandise and event materials via the GWR Shopify store.
  • Coordinate content for newsletters and other automations with Publishing editorial, Website Editors and Content Marketers.

Liaise closely with central records management to optimise and add value to the existing record holder lifecycle

Training, License, Certification Requirements:

  • Recent experience with a CRM system essential
  • Experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud desirable
  • Google Analytics desirable

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Several years’ experience in CRM marketing, preferably working across multiple international markets and/or within the B2C brands.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Data focussed and insight driven with an understanding of how to continually refine campaigns.
  • Proficiency in English is essential. Other languages would be desirable
