Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a UK manufacturer or window and door furniture, who are looking to recruit a knowledgeable Hardware Technical Support to join their team. Our client, is a successful UK hardware company and has been successfully trading with developers, contractors and window manufacturers for over 50 years. They are known for their innovative products and excellent working environments. This is a remote role but will be required to travel to head office once a week. The role:

  • Provide technical assistance/support internally and externally
  • Visit customers and sites to fact find, demonstrate products and resolve issues
  • Create and develop product solutions to meet customer/clients requirements
  • Provide training and literature for customers and staff about product range
  • Assist with the testing of windows/doors
  • Fit and function windows and doors
  • Travel to clients to train and provide technical assistance/training
  • Work with suppliers to develop new solutions and products
The candidate:
  • Must have current or recent experience as a Technical Support Manager/ Research & Development in window and door furniture/hardware
  • Have excellent technical knowledge of window and door furniture/hardware and the ability to apply it practically
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and confident to speak with client, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • CAD knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Have a full UK driving license
  • Must currently reside in the UK
