Commercial - Blyth, ON
The delivery supervisor role is integral to success of our daily operations at the branch. To be successful in this role, you need excellent interpersonal skills, experience in the trucking industry and general business acumen. Review the metrics from the day before, including litres per kilometre delivered, pre-trip inspection reports and worksite safety observation notes and update dashboard for senior leadership team.
Ensure consistent adherence to safety protocols including government mandated compliance policies.
Participate in recruitment efforts to build the team as needed, assist with onboarding, training and ensuring new hires complete the driver mentor program.
Ensure fleet remains in working order by working with the local garage to ensure preventative maintenance schedule is adhered to and quickly actioning any concerns noted on the pre-trip inspection forms.
G license and clean driving abstract required, DZ license an asset.
Completion of post-secondary or work-related certifications an asset.
Three years trucking industry experience preferred.
Previous Propane, Fuel, or Oil industry experience an asset but not required (will train)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required.
Weekend and Night availability may be required.
