**TEXO Recruitment** have an immediate need for an experienced **General Foreman** to manage and support a number of employees and contractors here at **TEXO Port Services, Blyth.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
- Managing and mentoring employees and contractors
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
- Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials
- Managing and processing contractors' and employees' time sheets

**Previous experience within a similar role in an engineering / oil & gas setting is essential.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From £20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blyth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
