Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist manufacturing company based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Sales Support Coordinator to support the external sales team.

The successful Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing senior administrative support to a fast paced, busy sales team. If you are a proactive individual with a passion for Administration and Customer Service, then this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Coordinator:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to customers.
  • Coordinate sales orders from receipt to fulfilment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
  • Follow up on all customer quotes over a certain threshold
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain sales forecasts, track progress against targets, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Generate sales reports and analytics to provide insights into sales performance and trends.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of sales transactions.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries, striving to resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and market trends to effectively support the sales team.

Key Skills of a Sales Coordinator:

  • Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
