With significant growth planned, , Stada UK is looking to recruit a Head of Legal to the business to support with our ambitious plans.



Reporting to the Managing Director of Stada UK and operating at Senior Executive level, you will be an integral business partner and act as a trusted advisor for all businesses and functions within the UK group, whilst also working closely with the wider global legal team.



identifying training needs amongst stakeholders on relevant legal and compliance issues; managing and mitigating legal and compliance risks by designing and implementing policies and procedures on industry specific issues; coordinating and instructing external legal counsel; and horizon scanning to help the business anticipate changes in the regulatory environment. It is a strategic level role needing a diverse range of legal and business skills.



You'll be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, sound commercial and legal judgement, and have the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, helping provide strategic directions with your strong business acumen.



You will be an experienced commercial lawyer, probably with at least 10 years PQE experience to make a success of the role. Pharmaceutical or Life Science experience would be advantageous but not essential, however if you have a strong track record gained in a related sectors (for example the FMCG sector, or possess significant licensing experience), and the aptitude to take on a new challenge, this may be a role of interest to you.



Alternatively, if you are currently working in a law firm and have strong industry sector knowledge this could be an exceptional move in house, leveraging your specific technical skillset and industry knowledge to move into a senior business role.



Stada UK operates a hybrid working pattern where you would work in the office 2 or 3 days a week. There is an exceptional remuneration package on offer including car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, and pension.
