Job Description

  • Drafting, negotiating, and finalising commercial contracts.
  • Providing legal advice to internal teams on commercial matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in commercial contracts.
  • Assisting with dispute resolution related to commercial contracts.
  • Participating in legal projects and initiatives as required.
  • Collaborating with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Conducting legal research and providing updates on legal developments.
  • Reporting to the head of the legal department on legal matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Commercial Contracts Solicitor' should have:

  • A valid practising certificate.
  • Experience in handling commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven ability in legal research and analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
