Facilities Logistics Coordinator

- Maintain accurate records of all GMP and general inventory transactions.
- Support service desk function during breaks, holidays and sickness.
- Receive and inspect incoming items/spares, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively raise purchase orders to timely replenish stock and prevent stock outs.
- Retain documents in accordance with HSE and GxP guidelines.
- Issue materials and supplies to production and engineering teams as per requirements.
- Plan and perform regular stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies and reconcile inventory records.
- To support helpdesk function during staggered breaks, holiday and sickness.
- Manage the disposal of WEEE waste in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement and enforce COSHH guidelines for safe handling and storage of hazardous substances.
- Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to replenish stock as needed.
- To keep stores clean, tidy, organised and well-maintained to comply with industry standards.
- Implement appropriate storage practices to preserve the quality and integrity of GMP stock items.
- Conduct contractor inductions and ensure adherence to site safety and GxP procedures.
- Work closely with engineering teams to identify and correctly procure ad hoc spares when required for remedial or reactive repairs. Raise purchase orders promptly to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and track inventory movements.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to pharmaceutical storage, waste management, and COSHH compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers, engineers, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of CMMS for inventory stock control and asset management
- Good understanding and experience of the Business Effectiveness process.
- Effective computer skills and use of system software including SAP, Ariba, Maximo, Airsweb, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Foundation knowledge of Health & Safety systems and processes
