Graduate Speech and Language Therapist Newham January 2024 Start
We are recruiting for a Graduate Speech and Language Therapist to join a dynamic secondary school based in Newham , starting in January 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Speech and Language Therapist to begin their career in an educational setting, supporting students with a range of speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy to students with speech and language difficulties
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies for student support
Help create and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions where necessary
Advise staff on strategies for speech and language support in the classroom
Work closely with parents and external agencies to ensure effective interventions
Key Requirements:
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
A passion for working with young people in an educational environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
