We are looking for a volunteer visitor in Blyth, Northumberland where we support an gentleman with a learning disability. He also really likes to listen to music, watch TV or do some crafts whilst relaxing in his home. He is able to communicate well both on the phone and in person and loves to make a cheeky joke or two.
This role is for a volunteer who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and are looking for the opportunity to build a supporting relationship . They are keen to challenge themselves and others for the best possible outcomes, and they are inclusive of everyone, regardless of disability.
Relevant training
Agreed out-of-pocket expenses to be reimbursed (e.g. travel)
