Our client is seeking an efficient and robust developer looking to work in house for a fast-paced European fashion business.

The role:

  • Understanding the flow between CRM to BC and minimising point of failures
  • Investigate issues in the live system with all related users in purchasing, sales, and management accounts teams to assess if a change request is needed or if a fix is needed and consult management when needed.
  • Scope fully any related change needed and report to management for sense checking solution with control group (across business functions) before deploying to test environment for UAT.
  • Full immersion in supply chain, team, and process to ensure these are as efficient as possible within BC for all functions.
  • Scope any BC change requests, ensure we fully understand the requirement and get management sign off before deploying any solutions in test environments.
  • Develop robust solutions and customisation within test environment in BC for any additionally user functionality needed, whilst maintaining standard BC processing and control.
  • Ensure we consider end to end process testing in development system across documents and reporting.
  • Ensure we consider end to end testing in live with subset of users before deploying solutions to whole business for through UAT sessions and manual creation testing.
  • Work within systems and data team to ensure whole team are working efficiently and cohesively as a unit across whole system to ensure CRM and BC data integrity.
  • Ensure the system design document is maintained and updated for all change requests deployed to live.

Requirements:

  • Temp position with possibility of permanent for the right person.
  • Someone with business management degree – essential
  • Experience in SQL/HTML/ Python or any coding experience – essential.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM applications creating flows, Power platform fundamentals – desirable.
  • Experience working with D365 dynamics fashion specific BC systems or within a fashion business – desirable.
  • Experience as developer for Business Central * AL, C/AL & C/SIDE programming across Dynamics NAV/BC –essential. Evidence of solutions deployed will be required.
  • Maths A level – level B or above – essential
  • GCSE – A English and Maths – desirable but B essential.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in office environment – working on data migration/ data analysis/ system redesign / system design or project management. Desirable.
  • Office 365 competence – essential.
