We are looking for a Project Administrator to support our Project Management team.

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative and financial support to a busy team. You will be undertaking a variety of tasks including issuing of documentation, financial transactions, financial reporting, editing & formatting documents, combining of documents, typing of various documents, e-filing, assisting with reports and ensuring the information systems are kept up-to-date. You will also be providing adhoc support to various members of the team so the ability to work autonomously is essential.

About the Role:

  • Maintaining project plans
  • Actioning project set ups in the system
  • Actioning project close outs in the system
  • Proactively raising monthly milestone invoices when appropriate
  • Assisting Project Managers with understanding and raising invoice for Timecharge projects
  • Assisting the project manager with understanding purchase ledger processes
  • Month end processes
  • Be a timekeeper for timecard competition
  • Generate reports for relevant Project Managers
  • Generate spreadsheets with specific financial information
  • Develop working relationships with Project Managers and Project Directors
  • Other adhoc duties where required

Ideally you will already have a range of valuable skills and knowledge including a range of computer programs (namely the Microsoft Office package) and ideally basic project and document management. You’ll play an active role in providing all kinds of project and financial support to the team. You’ll bring to the role a keen interest in project administration and finance. You’ve also got great communication skills and a collaborative approach, In addition you will have:

  • Financial Experience ( ideally Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable / Project Finance but not essential)
  • Studying towards or interested in studying for AAT or Business Administration or Project Management
  • Experience with Oracle system would be bonus
  • Reliable professional abilities,
  • Knowledge of relevant software solutions (Microsoft Office, etc)
