The Google Ads Media Buyer will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Google Ads campaigns to achieve our marketing and business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Ads, including search, display, video, and shopping ads, as well as a proven track record of driving performance through data-driven strategies.

You will manage google paid advertising campaigns across a portfolio of 8-12 different brands, across a range of product categories including: energy and productivity drinks, women’s activewear, men’s clothing, nutritional supplements, fitness subscription apps and course and community platforms. 

The role reports into the Head of Growth for Genflow, and you would be working alongside other channel experts to launch new campaigns, and optimise and scale existing campaigns to grow the brands’ audiences and sales profitably. 

Campaign Management: Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across various formats (search, display, video, shopping) to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
Generate detailed reports on campaign performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve ROI and drive business growth.
Ad Creation: Develop compelling ad copy, creative assets, and landing pages that align with campaign objectives and target audience preferences.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads dashboard, and other tools. Budget Management: Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively to maximize performance and minimize cost per acquisition (CPA).
A/B Testing: Implement A/B tests for ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continually improve campaign performance.
Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and content creators to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.

Proven experience as a Google Advertising Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful Google Ads campaigns.
In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, including search, display, video, and shopping ads.
Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager , amongst other relevant analytics and reporting tools an ability to pull, interrogate, report and draw actionable insight from the data is an absolute must
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling ad copy and creative assets.
The ability to work across multiple projects at the same time at pace
Someone who really takes pride in their work and the quality of their output 
A genuine willingness to roll up their sleeves and get work done and make things happen, whether it’s reporting, analysis, execution or jumping on a call with a client 
Someone who’s naturally interested in creators, social commerce and social content
