Raise Workforce has partnered with a well-established Food & Beverage company that is seeking to add a Quality Assurance Manager to their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Quality Assurance team to ensure that quality requirements are met according to internal quality, regulatory, and customer expectations. You will report to the Director of Food Safety and Quality, providing decision-making support for Quality Assurance.
Manage the activities of the QA Coordinator and QA Supervisor to ensure products meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
# Ensure compliance with Quality and Regulatory standards including CFIA, SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and other related quality management systems.
# Act as a company representative during government and facility audits.
# Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the SQF system.
# Provide leadership and support to factory operations to produce quality products.
# Work with R&D & QC staff to define raw material quality programs.
# A degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in the food industry.
Familiarity with regulatory and customer audit standards.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP).
Understanding of food plant sanitation and pest control programs.
Ability to assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
