At Gather & Gather, we are known as one of the UK & Ireland's most distinctive workplace catering experts, we are passionate about great food and great coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything that we do. We are looking for an experienced operator to own the overall responsibility for strategy and contract development. Overseeing the Catering Manager, and Executive chef, ensuring the service is managed in line with the client requirements and the Gather & Gather brand.
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Food and Service Development
• Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured across the Campus and are in line with the Gather & Gather brand.
• Support the Catering Manager in setting clear expectations to all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards across all locations.
• Work with the Catering Manager to continually review the service and food provided at all locations. Relationship Management
• Ensure location achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Managers to develop best practice in monitoring costs.
• Understand and interpret the relevant financial control systems and use the information to measure performance and achieve all targets.
• Prepare, produce and present a monthly financial report for the Operations Manager and client, detailing financial performance, activity and plans for the relevant site and outlining any necessary action that has been taken across all locations.
Support the Catering Manager to ensure all team members carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety standards as set out in the appropriate CH&CO manual.
• Provide effective performance management and appraisal for the Catering Manager and support the Catering Manager in doing the same for Assistant Manager and Supervisors.
