Job Description

Silcom Recruitment are pleased to announce a rare and thrilling opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our esteemed client, renowned for their success in the pharmaceutical sector. With a legacy spanning across 30 years, they stand as an industry leader and are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to be based from home operating across the Hampshire, West Sussex and West Berkshire counties.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust sales background, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills, professionalism, and adeptness in managing pressure to meet diverse business objectives.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Sales Representative:

Develop excellent product and industry knowledge.

Gather information on current markets, competitor activity and account status.

Promote our Orthopaedic and Ophthalmic products to customers in both the NHS and private practice (secondary care), to achieve quarterly territory targets.

Initiate, organise and deliver sales presentations.

Negotiate pricing and agreements across a matrix of departments within healthcare services.

Build and maintain relationships with customers.

Attend conferences and exhibitions both regionally, nationally and occasionally, internationally, providing expert guidance and information to delegates.

Maintain your territory database.

Work independently in the planning and organisation of your diary.

Produce a monthly report summarising key areas of your activity.

Pass the ABPI qualification following the successful completion of your probationary period.

The Package:

£25,000 to £40,000 Basic Salary [experience dependent] + £10,000 uncapped bonus

Monday to Friday [9:00am to 5:00pm] home based & field based (travel paid for)

Benefits:

Car allowance, expense account, laptop, iPhone, tablet, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays per year, fully funded study leave and ABPI qualification and a full, comprehensive induction and training program.
