We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Account Director to work across Unilever’s UK brands. Someone who has expertise in sports sponsorship marketing is essential, with Football & Running experience a strong plus. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Lead multiple account teams to deliver first class client service to Unilever’s UK brands and partners Develop strong relationships with brand leads and rights holders, being the main day to day contact Provide strategic sponsorship guidance and insight to the team to ensure that brand and business objectives are met Lead the strategic development and delivery of 360 campaigns across rights management, experiential, digital, content, in-store / shopper and communications, in close partnership with the Associate Director and internal teams Responsible for all elements of programme execution, budget planning and tracking, and client success Investigate, analyse and develop solutions to client problems Work to retain and develop client accounts within Wasserman Brands & Properties Leading & Developing Others Foster an environment of open communication, collaboration and teamwork Encourage on-going learning and development of team Conduct timely and beneficial performance reviews with direct reports. Ensure that direct reports are doing the same with subordinates Collaborate across the leadership of other business units within Wasserman to continue to deliver best in class client servicing, Account Management processes and training & development opportunities THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED Extensive experience in a similar position with a proven track record of success across Account Management, Brand Planning and Brand Activation, ideally 7+ years. Prior agency experience including past success in managing brands (ideally FMCG) that invest substantial budgets in partnerships, ideally at a global level Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance several projects and tasks simultaneously to deliver proactively and beyond client expectations Understanding of brands, rights holders and competitor agencies Strong understanding of financial processes, including both forecasting and reporting Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated empathy and commitment to success, along with a proven ability to manage expectations Confident, articulate, passionate individual with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as well as ability to listen Not afraid to challenge/question the strategic direction to ensure the client objectives are achieved Strong attention to detail and hands-on mentality
