We are excited to announce an opportunity for an exceptional Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our client primary school in Redbridge. Our client school is committed to providing high-quality education and support for all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
Oversee the day-to-day implementation of our SEN policy and coordinate specific provisions to support individual students with SEND.
Take a strategic approach to provision for students with SEND, monitoring and continuously improving the quality of support through evidence-based methodologies.
Collaborate with early years providers, other schools, educational psychologists, health and social care professionals, and external agencies as needed.
Uphold the welfare of students and adhere to school policies and the staff code of conduct.
Lead the High Needs In School Provision, with some teaching responsibilities.Qualities and Qualifications Required:
A highly skilled practitioner with a track record of achieving high standards in SEN education.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching at the primary or secondary level.
A passion for Continued Professional Development.
Ideally hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO).
Expertise in building upon established processes and systems.
Experience in delivering training and leading INSET sessions.
