We are seeking a dynamic Senior Operations Manager/Chief of Staff (COO) to join our client’s, Executive Management Team (EMT) and work closely with the CEO to steer our organisation towards achieving its future corporate vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CEO in defining, articulating, and executing the organisation’s transformation strategies. Enhance the strengths and capabilities of the existing Management Team, providing succession opportunities for the CEO and operating as the nominated deputy.
- Create a comprehensive master plan aligned with the Strategic Direction. This plan should create momentum, have multiple phases, and deliver significant benefits.
- Design and gain approval for an appropriate Target Operating Model that aligns with future strategic plans and the transformation journey. This includes all departmental functions: operations, IT & Change, and Support Functions.
- Use insight, data, experience, and stakeholder knowledge to formulate strategic direction. Build transformational plans that significantly improve performance while protecting stakeholder priorities.
- Lead the transformation, leadership, and management of large-scale operational teams. Ensure the continuous delivery of business performance through a multi-phased transformational plan.
- Demonstrate best-in-class knowledge of technology, change management, process improvement, and operational management.
- Exhibit transformational leadership through values, behaviors, and capabilities. Combine core commercial and implementation skills to move seamlessly between detailed operations and strategic influence.
- Ensure the delivery of all Risk and Control objectives with exceptional diligence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant and successful track record at a Senior Management level as an Operations Director.
- Proven experience in using insight, data, and stakeholder knowledge to create strategic business directions.
- Extensive experience in building and implementing transformational plans that enhance performance.
- Deep experience in creating and implementing various operating models, specifically off-shoring Operations and Technology.
- Proven ability to execute multi-phased transformational plans while maintaining business performance.
- Exceptional skills in transforming, leading, and managing large-scale operational teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology, change management, process improvement, and operational management.
- Ability to operate in complex business environments and/or regulated sectors.
- High degree of drive, motivation, energy, and enthusiasm to ensure the timely and effective delivery of objectives.
- Proven leadership experience in building, evolving, and motivating high-performing and diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking capabilities.
