Skills and Qualifications Essential Advanced Qualifications and Recognition: Hold a doctoral qualification in a relevant subject area. (Senior Lecturer Only). 4 years' experience in teaching at HE level in the UK (Senior Lecturer). Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (Min requirement for Lecturer). Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at the Higher Education level. Proficiency in utilising Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom. PhD in relevant a field (Senior Lecturer only). Native speaker of English or, if not, have current IELTS 7.5 Academic Certification. Demonstrable ability to prepare and oversee implementation of programme development plans and assess colleagues’ work. The ability to communicate with senior education professionals. The ability to build and maintain effective teacher/learner relationships with students. Desirable Possess a teaching qualification such as FHEA or PGCHE, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. A highly developed understanding of the demands of maintaining good cross-cultural, interpersonal, and relationships. High-level communication and presentation skills.
