Carry out such duties concerning the flight, in accordance with Company Operations Manual, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft Type
Support an open and honest Flight Safety culture which promotes good CRM throughout the company and ensures risks are reduced to their absolute minimum
As required, submit appropriate Company safety reports and report discrepancies/ defects through the appropriate channels.
Maintain a current medical certificate as required by the Company and notify the Operations team if a medical (physical or mental) condition may impair their ability to perform the flight
Responsible to the Operations team, Head of Crew Training and Chief Pilot for duty assignments and training
Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web-based applications
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; chemicals including aviation fuels and oils. In addition to the requirement to hold a Class 1 Medical certificate, the Pilot must be able to complete the day-to-day tasks associated with the operation of a helicopter. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading of bags, accomplish a thorough pre-flight and post flight inspection, assist with snow removal during inclement weather, installation and the removal of engine covers and the daily internal and external cleaning of aircraft, as required.
