We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior/Principal Platform Systems Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Barrow-in-Furness . This is a full-time on-site position where you can truly make an impact What You’ll Be Doing: In this exciting role, you will: Develop design evidence to ensure safe and effective solutions that inspire customer confidence. Specify and assist in building prototypes, products, and systems for testing. Provide timely corrective actions on all assigned defects and issues. Ensure commitments are agreed upon, reviewed, and met. Mentor junior engineers on technical matters, sharing your expertise. Make impactful presentations to both technical and management audiences, staying updated on novel concepts and markets. Author and co-author technical reports, papers, articles, patents, and presentations as needed. Your Skills and Experience: We’re looking for someone who is: Educated to degree level in Engineering, Mechanical, or Science subjects. Skilled in design documentation and able to present these to customers and wider groups. A problem solver with the ability to tackle complex engineering calculations.
