Executive Roundtables: ISMG's Roundtables give cybersecurity professionals the opportunity to discuss specific challenges being faced by today’s cybersecurity landscape with a handful of market leaders in an informal & private closed-door setting.
Custom Events: Specialized events that are exclusively curated with a blend of actionable education & unique experiences tailored for senior security professionals & business leaders who hold security, privacy, & risk responsibility for their organizations.
ISMG is searchingfor an enthusiastic Event & Marketing Operations Manager with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting Executive Roundtables and Custom Events within cybersecurity. The Event Marketing Manager will be tasked with the recruitment of attendees,sponsorship management, logistic coordination, and delivering on event brief objectivesfor our vendor sponsored events. The EventMarketing Manager will be responsible for at least 4-8 virtual/live events per month.
The noteworthy Event Marketing Manager should reinforce excellent client relations, amplify brand visibility andimprove the organization’s image, and effectively deliver on event objectives.
Managing Executive Roundtable Events,both virtually &in-person .
Maintaining consistent communication with client sponsors through the event lifecycle.
Assisting in expanding global attendee prospect database & nurturing existing attendee relationships by recruiting C-level executives to participate in events.
Segmenting &distributing invitations to internal database.
Creating marketing & invitationcopy &utilizing Marketing Automation System (Marketo) to execute &monitor event promotions.
Editing, proofreading, & optimizingcopy for promotional materials ensuring both ISMG & client standards have been met.
Working with internal team to coincide with company/event marketing efforts.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Events, Public Relations, Communications, or other related fields.
~3-5 years of professional work experience in event management, audience development/attendee recruitment, and/or sales.
~ Experience managing client projects &expectations with an emphasis on event performance.
~ Virtual event experiencepreferably utilizing virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, WebEx, etc.
~ Experience with marketing automation programs (Marketo is a plus).
~ Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects & assignments concurrently while prioritizingtight deadlines.
~ The ability to work well in a fast paced media environment.
~ Specifically French, Italian, German, or Spanish
