The Candidate – This role would suit a candidate with strong payroll processing experience, perhaps gained within a large global business or shared services centre. We are looking for someone with advanced Excel skills, and excellent accuracy. We welcome applications from candidates who are looking for a short term role for 6 months, or people who would welcome this as an opportunity that could turn permanent in time, on the understanding that it can’t be guaranteed.

The Role – This role is a 6 Month FTC to begin with, as the company requires cover for a team members absence. This role is based within the friendly Finance team. The Payroll Service Centre is responsible for the end to end processing of the monthly payroll for staff. Reporting directly to the Payroll Deputy Team Leader, this is an exciting opportunity to support with these activities.

The role holder will have exposure to some aspects of international payroll processing and have the opportunity to participate in some dedicated project groups focussing on various topics, not just day-to-day payroll activity.

You will make an impact in this role by supporting with all payroll processing activities including -

One-off payments, season ticket and bicycle loans
Checking payroll changes
Tax uploads
International Payroll Processing
Reporting and reconciliations
Payroll reconciliations / Data cleansing
Ad-Hoc tasks as and when required


Demonstrate strong payroll processing experience
Have a solid working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
Demonstrate an understanding of payroll legislation and processes
