Medical Service Engineer
A leading medical devices manufacturer and international distributor are seeking a Service Engineer or Service Technician to join their team in Crawley, West Sussex
You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and testing highly complex medical equipment such as bladder scanners, cardiac monitoring equipment and patient temperature management systems.
Full training will be provided
As the manufacturer of these devices, this organisation can offer a thorough, "tried and tested" training plan. No prior medical engineering experience is necessary. Applicants with any service and repair skills are welcome, whether this be electrical, mechanical or electronic.
As a minimum it is expected that all applicants have good attention to detail, previous electronic or electro mechanical service and repair experience plus a willingness to learn. A minimum of HNC in engineering or related discipline is also required.
Once fully trained and working independently as a work-shop based Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to progress into a Senior Field Service Engineer role. This role will remain 75% workshop based with 25% of your time spent travelling to customer sites nearby.
HNC or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline
Prior service and repair experience
Basic salary of £28-40,000 (the upper end is reserved for more experienced engineers who will go straight into the Senior Field Service Engineer role)
