Export Sales Account Manager

I have an exciting opportunity for an Export Sales Account Manager. You will be joining a busy office, based in Radstock. This is a role for an organised and experienced individual who understands and comes from a manufacturing background.
Job Title: Export Sales Account Manager Location: Radstock Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Contract: Permanent Salary: Disclosed on application This role is essential with supporting the existing export team and grow the business into new territories. You will be an important cog by overseeing, managing and coordinating all enquiries from architects, contractors, and end users ensuring they are provided a prompt and effective service by the network involved. This is an office based role. Responsibilities:- Work hand in hand with a network of dealers ensuring the business can develop incoming opportunities to ensure targets are met
- Conduct research to pinpoint prospective dealers in new territories gained, and develop a plan of how to establish a productive business relationship
- Ensure customers orders are processed in a timely manner, and electronically file all completed orders
- Undertake administration for the export process including communicating with Freight Transportation, documents and labelling
- Liaise with other departments ensuring deliveries are manufactured and leave on time
- Comply with company procedures and adhere to business administration processes
- Act as interface between the business and the client
- Maintain an audit trail for all orders
- Proactively support and respond to clients enquiries when they arise in a timely manner
- Maintain and update databases and reports
- Proven experience in account management, preferably in an export environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to think strategically
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understands a manufacturing process
