As a Project Planner , you will create and develop realistic, baselined project plans that support successful project delivery, providing effective communication to these plans and any deviations and their criticality to all necessary stakeholders, using appropriate reporting tools to do so. This role is crucial to contributing to the design and development of the planning system and reporting solutions.
Construct and develop plans to define the work required to deliver projects using logical sequencing and linkages.
Manage the plans through to completion leveraging any opportunities that arise to improve project outcomes.
Identify any risks and impact to the project plan and ensure these are appropriately reported.
To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of project planning.
Possess an excellent working knowledge of a mainstream PPM software solution such as Microsoft PWA, Primavera P6 or similar.
Possess a thorough understanding of the principles of Project Management. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Power BI reporting tool.
Previous experience as Project Planner in a precision engineering and manufacturing environment.
To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
