We are working with an established manufacturer of high-performance motion control technology company based in Gloucestershire, UK.
They are recruiting for a Product Support Engineer to join their team.
Currently seeking to recruit Product Support Engineers at various levels. Applications are welcome from engineers with experience in industrial automation and graduate engineers.
Provision of technical support to existing customers via multiple media channels
* Support and training of in-house and external applications engineers
* The company is growing rapidly and is looking for a number Product Support Engineers.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electronic engineering
* Modify Drives software
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
* A valid passport ensuring unrestricted travel to and from the UK - responsibilities may require domestic and international travel
* A valid UK driving licence
Training will be given in areas which are new to the applicant.
* Experience using stand-alone automation systems: e.g. PLC or Motion Controller.
* Knowledge of a programming language; C, BASIC, Python.
* Programming with the standard IEC(phone number removed) languages.
* Application and configuration of Industrial Robots.
* Using real-time deterministic networks, e.g. Programming and configuration of touch-screen HMIs
* Practical experience of electrical interfacing between devices in an automation system.
