As a Assertive Outreach Worker, you’ll make a real difference to their lives as you provide support and advice to help each and every one of our service users achieve their potential. As an Assertive Outreach Worker we offer a starting salary of £22,284 with annual pay progression to £24,567 (Dependent on experience you may be offered a starting salary above the initial starting salary).

Whether you are looking to progress into a management and leadership role or to be a specialist in your field as an Advanced Substance Use Practitioner at Turning point we will support and encourage you on your career journey.

This team is focused on delivering a high standard of outreach support. you will be required to work across both locality hubs and community sites.

You’ll need a good working knowledge of issues related to substance Use, as well as a genuine passion for the field. Although previous relevant experience, on either a voluntary basis or as a paid employee is preferable, most important is that you’re flexible, patient and able to view situations from a service user’s perspective. As you’d expect, good moral values will be key. It would be preferable if the post holder has had previous experience in delivering outreach support.
