Are you tech-savvy and passionate about shaping the future of education? We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join a team as an IT Apprentice at a well established school. In this role, youll work towards your IT Support Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including installing basic software packages and setting common options, to ensure the optimal performance of their technology systems.
Fault-find and rectify AV issues, including PCs, display screens, projectors, sound systems, and interactive touch screens, to ensure uninterrupted access to multimedia resources for teaching and learning.
Carry out basic safety checks on IT equipment and infrastructure to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and mitigate potential risks to students and staff.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Working Monday-Friday, 08:30 16:30
You will also be required to work 1 in 5 Saturdays during term time only, 8.00pm on a rota basis.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Dedication to providing excellent customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the school community.
Grade 4 in Maths and a grade 5 in English at GCSE is required for this role.
Your Training with Baltic:
This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
