We have an fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our team in Luton, Bedfordshire

We are two long standing, family run practices providing NHS and private dental care to the Luton area for over 30 years We have a long-standing, loyal and continually growing patient base, and practice an ethos of patient-centred care.

We believe in the community and being the best neighbour to provide excellent dental care to our patients, with a commitment to meeting the dental demand in the UK.

The role will be to manage the day-to-day running of our busy practices, Marsh Farm Dental and Hockwell Dental , to ensure they operate smoothly.

We are looking for a strong clinically minded individual with a background in Dentistry to help build on the fantastic reputation that has been established across our sites.

The practices are situated very close to each other and are conveniently close to the M1 and Thameslink train services. Both sites are small but busy and carry out NHS and private work with an experienced and committed team currently in place.

The role

  • Leading the practice team in the provision of dental care services to patients
  • Work with the Clinical Team to ensure the practice remains compliant with the General Dental Council and CQC guidelines, to ensure the delivery of first-class patient care
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the practice
  • Have a good understanding of CQC and work to ensure full compliance
  • Maintaining great relationships with patients and practice staff
  • Observe patient confidentiality at all times
  • To be fully aware of all staff’s duties and responsibilities
  • Grow the reputation of the practice
  • Effective marketing input to grow the patient base

The ideal candidate

  • Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
  • Management or leadership experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • IT proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • Appreciation for the importance of timely, complete and accurate documentation.

We are dedicated in providing the support and training to ensure your smooth transition into the business surroundings. The current salary offering is negotiable depending on experience, with good remuneration on offer .
